Francis Howell School District provides a free and appropriate public education to all students, including those attending private/parochial schools, beginning on the child's third birthday through age twenty (20), regardless of the child's disability. Special education services are available at Saeger Middle School for students diagnosed with:

- Emotional Disturbance
- Hearing Impairment and Deafness
- Mental Retardation
- Multiple Disabilities
- Orthopedic Impairment
- Other Health Impairments
- Specific Learning Disabilities
- Speech or Language Impairment

- Visual Impairment/Blind
